A.E.Inc. has an exclusive right to market the "SEG-MELT" furnace.  The unique SEG- MELT furnaces separate batch from cullet in the melting process.  Batch requires a high melting temperature, but cullet does not.  This thermal difference allows a SEG-MELT furnace to process batch in 18 to 24 hours and to process cullet in 6 to 12 hours during the melting process.  Conventional methods of batch and cullet melting require 18 to 24 hours for both batch and cullet.  The major advantages of SEG-MELT melting process are increased furnace longevity and energy savings.  To date, we have applied this design technology to furnaces producing from one-half ton per day artistic glassware to 160 ton per day container glass.

The advantages of SEG-MELT technology can greatly be enhanced when coupled with a SEG-MELT COLOR CELL system, another exclusive technology offered by A.E.Inc. 

SEG-MELT furnaces and SEG-MELT COLOR CELLS are covered by patents owned by R.D. Argent.
